    "Brooksie's" Story~~Please Read!

     

    This is a blog that was taken off of a friends blog.  Please read!  I did edit out some words for the purpose kids will read this blog

    I ASK THAT YOU PLEASE LINK THIS BLOG IN A BULLETIN OR A BLOG TO MAKE EVERYONE AWARE THAT IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU, YOUR CHILD OR YOUR LOVED ONE.

    I have been on MySpace for over two years now, and I have had many accounts. I have deleted them always because of some crazy person emailing me, harassing me to a point where I just felt it was better if I deleted my account. I cannot even count the number of times I have sent emails to Rae showing her what kind of crazy people email me and she always would reply back "You attract the **** craziest people Brooksie"

    I recently had a man email me, he was cool at first, then he became harassing in a way because he emailed me almost every single day, about three times a day. Every time I would post a blog he would email me, which was cool, I have no issue with that but he was a bit different. He became a little creepy, a little obsessed with my writing and my personal life, asking if I was with someone, where did I live, and I did what I always did and ignored the personal questions.

    Then stuff went down, and I deleted my account (an entire different blog there) and one day I get this call from that guy on my home phone, he is asking me to pick up, I ignore it, and he calls back at least 25 times in one day. Then it became everyday that he called me, and finally my friend Johnny picked up the phone and told him to stop calling, and that pissed him off.

    Then he sent me a letter in the mail, it said how much he was falling in love with my writing, with my words, and wanted to see me, was upset that I just deleted my MySpace account with out saying anything to him. He wrote me poems, sent me pictures, and professed his undying love to me!

    I THOUGHT HE WAS CRAZY!

    Little did I know he was insane!

    One night, I was coming home; I was walking up to my front door with bags of groceries, I noticed my porch light was out, I could barely see my front door, I was pretty ***** pissed off because with out that porch light, it is pitched black in my front patio area.

    I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT! JUST ANOTHER LIGHT BULB BURNED OUT....AGAIN!

    I was bending down to put my groceries down, and felt a sharp blunt pain on the back of my head, and my face slam hard against my door security gate. At first I did not understand what was going on, I was scared, and then I could hear him whisper in my ear telling me to be quiet.

    IT TOOK ME A FEW MINUTES TO REALIZE THAT SOMEONE WAS ATTACKING ME!

    I started to struggle with him, I was trying to get him off me when I felt the blood running down my face, it was so dark I could not see who it was, and every time I tried he would slam my face down and it caught the edge of the security gate each time cutting my face open.

    Then I got scared as I thought WHERE IS MY SON!

    I went in mom mode, I got my arm out from underneath me, reached in my back pocket where my butterfly knife was and realized I did not have on the same jeans as before as nothing was in my back pocket but a receipt.

    I screamed GETTHE ***** OFF ME and then he lifted me up off the ground with his arm around my neck, and I knew then that was his biggest mistake because I let my body go dead, and he dropped me. I turned over and kicked him in the knee cap as I was taught by the best, and kicked him til  he fell to the ground. I kicked him in the face as he landed head first against the brick wall, and did not stop until I saw he was not moving.

    I dragged my self over to him, look at his face, and wrapped my hands around his neck and he fought me hard, he punched me in the face, knocked me out and I came to with him gone, and a Police Officer leaning over me telling me I was going to be OK.

    The neighbor came home, and scared the guy off.

    It took a while for them to catch him and you want to know how I knew it was the guy from the Internet?

    BECAUSE HE WHISPERED IN MY EAR I WILL BE HIS GIRL AND THAT WAS THE NAME OF THE POEM HE WROTE ME!

    During the attack, he whispered lines from my own poetry!

    That is the only reason why I knew it was him, because the photo he had on myspace, was not his real photo!

    You never know who is on the other side of that monitor talking to you, it could be anyone and tomorrow I will write and tell everyone how it came about that he found me, and all my personal information. I will tell you what the Police Department told me, and what they found when they found him.

    If you think you are safe on line, you are wrong, I will tell everyone no matter what you do, if someone wants to find you, they will and I will show you how they do it.

    THIS HAS BEEN A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BROOKSIE AND I ASK THAT YOU PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ONES YOU CARE ABOUT BECAUSE WHAT I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU WILL BLOW YOUR ******* MIND AWAY AT HOW ******** EASY IT IS TO SEEK OUT SOMEONE ONLINE!

    *Updated*Part 2 - Think you are safe, think again

    (PLEASE READ AS THIS COULD SAFE YOU OR YOUR OWN CHILDS LIFE)

    Those who know me know I am not your typical girl, I am not in the salon weekly getting my nails done, and a pedicure, I am not materialist, with diamond jewelry on. I was born and raised on the Westside of town, with the rest of the Mexican Gangsters.

    I spent 15 years in an abusive relationship, I been arrested from assault, criminal damage to driving on a suspended license. I have been a suspect in many things from robbery to ****** with a girl in high school. All of this is public record, if you doubt me then search for me, if you are good you will find I am more then you think.

    I have been in more fights then I can remember some I won, some I lost, I been jumped, attacked, shot at, stabbed, and have all the scars to show it. When I was younger if you wanted to find me you had to be walking the streets from dusk until dawn as I was running around dealing drugs. I am not sweet and innocent and never in my life ever claimed to be.

    What happened to me did not faze me that much I am not writing all of this for people to feel sorry for me, or to send me money. I am writing this to make people who are not as strong as I am who cannot fight back, aware of what can happen to you if you are not aware of your surrounding, especially on line.

    Those who want to cause trouble, start drama, or talk ****, please move on, I am not going to play that game it is an old burnt out one that you need to put back on the top shelf of the closet to collect dust.

    MOVE ON!

    BUT

    The person who searched for me was not a hater, it was someone who wanted me for other reasons, I did not have a fight online with him, we did not exchange heated words, and he was not the reason I deleted my account.

    Here is the step-by-step way he found me, and it is creepy as hell knowing that he took a few pieces of me and made a puzzle of a map to my home.

    First, I did not have what city I lived in on my profile, it said I live in Ghetto, Arizona, I did not have my last name, or first name but he figured it all out on his own.

    He found out my fist name by a comment a friends left, then he figured out what my last name was from my nickname.

    Now he had my first and last name.

    IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SAFE BECAUSE YOU HAVE YOUR PROFILE ON PRIVATE. THINK AGAIN BECAUSE ONCE YOU CLICK ON THAT PERSONS PAGE AND THEY HAVE A TRACKER, THEY GOT YOU!

    He had a tracker, so he knew my IP address, and what city I live in.

    NOW HE HAS MY FIRST, LAST NAME, MY CITY, AND STATE WITH IP ADDRESS.

    This is where yahoo comes in as he searched for me on yahoo personal search, found a listing with my name with in my city and state.

    He began to call those numbers listed! I have had a few number changes so there were a few numbers for him to call, plus another girl with my name lives in my city and he called her as well. After no luck getting me on the phone, and Johnny telling him he had the wrong number, he searched for me more.

    He did a search for my nickname brooksie, he found my other blogs, and he found a piece of the puzzle that would give him confirmation of my address and my unit number.

    He found my flickr account, which was public, with many photos of me and my family on it. One of my photos had a photo of me and my son at Halloween, next to me is three numbers, which was my unit number.

    Now, from phone number search, he had my address, and now from Flickr, he had my unit number.

    THEN THE PUBLIC RECORD SEARCH CAME TO CONFIRM IT ALL!  


    (PLEASE NOTE~~  I took out her county)

    ******** County has a website with public records, you can search by name and it will give you anyone's information, including there ***** address! He searched my name, and since I just refinanced my townhome this past year, he had confirmation on my address and that I still lived there.

    That is when the certified letter came, when he saw I got it, but did not call him, email him or IM him as he asked he packed up his **** and came for me.

    He did a Google map search, which gave him a map of my townhome, and directions to my home.

    He showed up to talk to me, not to kill me, rape me, or harm me but to talk! When he saw me kissing Johnny in the parking lot when I was on my way to the store he got pissed because I did not tell him I had a boyfriend, little did he know he is just my best friend!

    He waited for me to get back, took the bulb out of my porch light, threw a rock at my neighbors to knock hers out, and waited for me to return.

    The man who showed up at my home was not the man on myspace, it showed up later that he went on match.com and found a profile of a person and stole his photos and used them on myspace as his own. Therefore, it looked like it was a real profile, he had many photos of him and his friends, and little did I know he stole them from someone else.

    YOU NEVER KNOW WHOM YOU ARE TALKING TOO!

    All in all, you are not safe on myspace, it is so ******* easy to track you from a tracker, and the internet is full of public records that will lead you to anyone if you wanted. You might not have your first and last name on your page, but your comments can lead to you.

    If your friends says hey lets meet at a certain place, that person can go there and find you, follow you home and now know where you live. Your own photos can lead to you, if they are taking in a public place, if you have photos of yourself half naked on the internet, thinking you are safe you are not and you are just asking for trouble, because you never know what crazy person is looking at you, and studying your page to find you!

    DO NOT BE STUPID AND JUST LET SOMEONE HAVE A REASON TO SEEK YOU, AS IT IS EASIER THEN YOU THINK AS ALL THEY NEED IS A NAME, AND CITY WHERE YOU LIVE.

    The main reason why I am posting this is not for me or dumb girls on here half-naked, I am posting this because most of you are parents, your own children are on here, and all they have to do is click on someone's page to be a target!

    I am a strong woman, I can fight and defend myself, but what if I was a child, or a girl who is more of a material girl then the tom girl I am!

    I just showed you how easy it was for someone to find me, now how easy it is for him or her to find you.

    I ASK THAT YOU PLEASE PASS THIS BLOG ON, LINK IT IN A BULLETIN OR BLOG BECAUSE IT IS NOT SAFE OUT THERE AND HOW MANY FRIENDS OR LOVED ONES DO YOU HAVE ON HERE THAT ARE OPEN TARGETS FOR A NUT CASE!
